Los miembros del Consejo de Seguridad excepto EEUU solicitan la detención de los ataques de Israel en Gaza
Members of the United Nations (UN) Security Council, except the United States, called for a halt to the Israeli regime's attacks and declared that the regime must change its course in Gaza. UNSC members met Wednesday local time for an unexpected press conference, and in a joint statement called on the Israeli regime to halt its attacks on Gaza. This statement, which was not signed by the United States, endorsed the announcement by the United Nations-backed Integrated Food Security Phase Classification (IPC), which had confirmed the famine in Gaza, and declared the famine in Gaza a man-made crisis. Fourteen UN Security Council member states have called the famine in Gaza a "man-made crisis" and warned that the use of starvation as a weapon of war is prohibited under international law and must be stopped immediately. The Security Council also called for a permanent, immediate, and unconditional ceasefire in Gaza and the release of prisoners in the region, and called on the Israeli regime to immediately and unconditionally lift all restrictions on aid shipments to Gaza.
